- - Keyboard Options, Special Key Actions
-
- Two new check-box items have been added to this menu.
-
- 1. Alt-font letter applies to selected text []
-
- When you press the Alt key together with a font letter key, PCˆWrite normally
- inserts a font character at the cursor. If you have checked this option, and
- if you have selected (marked or boxed) text, PCˆWrite applies the font to the
- selected text. This will result in several font characters being inserted at
- the "edges" of the selected text.
-
- 2. Ctl-F7 in column mode always column boxes []
-
- When you press Ctl-F7 in column mode, PCˆWrite normally asks you if you want
- normal boxing or column boxing. If you have checked this option, PCˆWrite
- will always do column boxing in column mode. This also checks the check box
- in the Edit, Box select, Column box pull-down menu.
